During this course, you will learn about the risks, hazards, and safety procedures involved in deep diving, as well as how to manage them. You will also learn how to use specialized deep diving equipment, such as dive computers, redundant air sources, and reels. The PADI Deep Diver course consists of four deep dives, which can be completed over two or more days. In the first two dives, you will learn about the effects of pressure at depth, how to manage nitrogen narcosis, and how to use specialized equipment. The third and fourth dives will be deep dives, where you will apply the knowledge and skills you learned in the first two dives. During these dives, you will also practice emergency procedures and dive planning.
